RESOLUTION NO. 2023-567
RESOLUTION ADOPTING PROPOSED RESOLUTION OF
NECESSITY, AS PROPOSED OR AMENDED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2024 SIDEWALK REPAIR
ASSESSMENT PROGRAM - ZONE 3 PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 1082, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, this Council has proposed a Resolution of Necessity for the Waterloo, Iowa,
Sidewalk Assessments in conjunction with the FY 2024 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program -
Zone 3 Project, Contract No. 1082, and has given notice of the public hearing thereon as required
by law, and
WHERAS, the public hearing has been held, all persons offering objections have been
heard and consideration given to all objections and is pending before this Council, and
WHEREAS, this is the time and place set as provided for the taking of action on the
proposed Resolution of Necessity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
That the proposed Resolution of Necessity described above is hereby adopted, as
proposed, with all objections filed or made having been duly considered.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September 2023.
