RESOLUTION NO. 2023-574
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO CELLSITE
SOLUTIONS, LLC, OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $121,500.00, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PREFABRICATED SHELTER AT
3233 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
1087, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, CellSite Solutions, LLC, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, submitted a bid
in conjunction with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233 Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No.
1087, in the amount of $121,500.00, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, CellSite Solutions, LLC, submitted a written contract, bond and certificate
of insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233
Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No. 1087.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of CellSite Solutions, LLC, in the amount of $121,500.00, in conjunction
with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233 Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No. 1087, is hereby
accepted and awarded to Brock Even Construction, LLC.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by CellSite Solutions,
LLC, in the amount of $121,500.00, in conjunction with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233
Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No. 1087, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September 2023.
