RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A FY 2024
AIR SERVICE DEVELOPMENT GRANT FROM THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - AVIATION BUREAU, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $48,000.00 FOR THE CY 2024 MARKETING,
ADVERTISING, AND PROMOTION OF THE WATERLOO
REGIONAL AIRPORT BEGINNING ON OR ABOUT JANUARY 1,
2024, VIA CONTRACT NO. CNTRT-00005884 AND PROJECT NO.
9-I-240-ALO-135, AT WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND AIRPORT DIRECTOR, TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the FY 2024 Air Service Development Grant from the Iowa Department of Transportation -
Aviation Bureau, in the amount of $48,000.00 for the CY 2024 marketing, advertising, and
promotion of the Waterloo Regional Airport beginning on or about January 1, 2024, via Contract
No. CNTRT-00005884 and Project No. 9-I-240-ALO-135, at Waterloo Regional Airport, are
hereby accepted, and the Mayor and Airport Director are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of October 2023.
