RESOLUTION NO. 2023-584
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING THE
DATE OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 26, 2023, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 6, 2023, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2024 BYRNES AQUATIC
CENTER, CONTRACT NO. 1077, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction
with the FY 2024 Byrnes Aquatic Center, Contract No. 1077, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Byrnes Aquatic
Center, Contract No. 1077, be scheduled for October 26, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo,
Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of November 2023,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Byrnes Aquatic Center, Contract No.
1077.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
