RESOLUTION NO. 2023-597
RESOLUTION RESETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 16, 2023, IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. AB-2023-07-02P,
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 212 SUNNYSIDE AVENUE
AND 1318 MARTIN ROAD, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 7, 2023, in conjunction with Asbestos
Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2023-07-02P, for property located at 212 Sunnyside
Avenue and 1318 Martin Road.
WHEREAS, notice of publication of said hearing per Iowa Code Section 362.3 was not
published timely by the Waterloo Courier.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of October
2023, to re -open the public hearing, in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract
No. AB-2023-07-02P, for property located at 212 Sunnyside Avenue and 1318 Martin Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is now directed to publish notice of
the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of October 2023.
