RESOLUTION NO. 2023-639
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY LODGE CONSTRUCTION,
INC., OF CLARKSVILLE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$444,700.10, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021
WESTDALE BIOSWALE, CONTRACT NO. 997, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc., of Clarksville, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Westdale Bioswale, Contract No. 997, and
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
on June 7, 2021, Resolution No. 2021-396.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Lodge Construction, Inc., at a total cost of $444,700.10, in
conjunction with the FY 2021 Westdale Bioswale, Contract No. 997, are hereby approved, and a
two-year maintenance bond received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of October 2023.
