RESOLUTION NO. 2023-652
RESOLUTION AFFIRMING PRIOR APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
WATERLOO PUBLIC LIBRARY 2023 INTERIOR
RENOVATION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 28439.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Library Director of said city to prepare and file specifications, bid documents, form of contract,
etc., in conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023 Interior Renovation Project, Contract
No. 28439, and
WHEREAS, said Library Director did file said specifications, bid documents, form of
contract, etc., in conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023 Interior Renovation Project,
Contract No. 28439, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on September 18, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Courier failed to publish the Notice of Public Hearing for the
September 18, 2023 meeting adequately, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on October 16, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that the approval of said specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Waterloo Public Library 2023 Interior Renovation Project, Contract No.
28439, are hereby affirmed, and said project proceeds in accordance with said specifications.
