AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A REQUEST BY THE CITY
OF WATERLOO TO VACATE 157,048 SQUARE FEET OF
WEST AIRLINE HIGHWAY FROM 3469 WEST AIRLINE
HIGHWAY TO 2950 GERALDINE ROAD, WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF A 21,105 SQUARE FEET SECTION OF CITY-
OWNED RIGHT-OF-WAY AT 3469 WEST AIRLINE
HIGHWAY THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY VACATED, SUBJECT
TO THE RETENTION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT AND AN
UTILITY EASEMENT OVER, UNDER, UPON, AND ACROSS
THE ENTIRE VACATED AREA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That approximately 157,048 square feet of West Airline Highway from 3469
West Airline Highway to 2950 Geraldine Road, with the exception of a 21,105 square feet section
of City-owned right-of-way at 3469 West Airline Highway that was previously vacated, and legally
described as follows:
