RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF
COST, ETC., FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF T -HANGAR
DOORS AT THE WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously instructed the Airport
Director to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of
contract and preliminary estimate of cost, etc., for the
Replacement of T -Hangar Doors at the Waterloo Regional Airport,
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as specified in the
specifications, and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director has filed said plans,
specifications, form of contract and preliminary estimate of
cost, etc., and the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, having
considered the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said plans, specifications, form of contract
and preliminary estimate of cost, etc., be, and the same are
hereby preliminarily approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-210a
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO WATERLOO
MEMORIAL DAY BOARD TO HOLD ANNUAL MEMORIAL
DAY PARADE ON MAY 31, 2010.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Memorial Day Board has made written
application to the City Council asking that they be authorized
and permitted to hold the annual Memorial Day Parade on May 31,
2010, and
WHEREAS, said parade will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the
route starting on 6th and Commercial Streets to Park Avenue,
across the river to Mulberry Street, right to 5th Street and
right to Cedar Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Memorial Day
Board to hold the annual Memorial Day Parade on May 31, 2010
beginning at 10:30 a.m., with the route starting on 6th and
Commercial Streets to Park Avenue, across the river to Mulberry
Street, right to 5th Street and right to Cedar Street, be and the
same is hereby approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-211a
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF JESUS AND
BEVERLY AYALA TO CLOSE A PORTION OF LAFAYETTE
STREET IN CONJUNCTION WITH CINCO DE MAYO EVENT
ON MAY 5, 2010.
WHEREAS, Jesus and Beverly Ayala have requested that they be
allowed to close a portion of Lafayette Street at 4th Street
westerly to the alley mid -block in conjunction with the Cinco De
Mayo event on May 5, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jesus and Beverly Ayala to
close a portion of Lafayette Street at 4th Street westerly to the
alley mid -block in conjunction with the Cinco De Mayo event on
May 5, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., be and the same is
hereby approved.
