HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-219-3 /22/2010RESOLUTION NO. 2010-219a RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE F.Y. 2010 SIDEWALK REPAIR PROGRAM - ZONE 10 AND TRAIL REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 779. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2010-218a, plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., for the F.Y. 2010 Sidewalk Repair Program - Zone 10 and Trail Repairs, Contract No. 779, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have been approved and adopted by this Council after the hearing prescribed by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by this Council that the said improvements be constructed in accordance with said plans and specifications. That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly estimates, in cash, on the basis of 90 percent of the work as the same is completed and materials delivered and the work approved, except that before the last month's payment is made the contractor may be required to furnish the City Council vouchers showing that all subcontractors and workmen and persons furnishing materials have been fully paid for such materials and labor, and that the City may retain the last month's payment for a period of 31 days following such completion and approval, unless satisfied that materials, men and laborers have been paid. That said work shall be done by contract and shall be commenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed". PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 2010. est G. Clark, Mayor ATTEST: Suzy Sc ar s, CMC City Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 2010-219 RESOLUTION APPROVING RENTAL FEES AND POLICIES FOR THE CEDAR RIVER BOAT HOUSE IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the following Rental Fees and Policies for the Cedar River Boat House in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same are hereby approved: 1. $125 all day, Monday through Thursday (8:00 a.m. - 10:00 P.M.) . 2. $200 all day, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Holidays (8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). 3. $200 damage/cleaning deposit required. 4. City Attendant required for all events at a cost of $12 per hour. 5. Clean up to be done by renter with assistance from City Attendant. 6. Beer and wine allowed in bottles/cans only. No kegs allowed. 7. Caterers must provide Proof of Liability Insurance prior to event. 8. Must be 21 and sign a contract to rent. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of March, 2010. Ernest G.
