RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT FOR THE
DISASTER RECOVERY BUSINESS RENTAL ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
CONTRACT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Contract dated April 5, 2010, for the Disaster Recovery
Business Rental Assistance Program with the following business:
Classic Kitchen & Bath, Inc., 220 East 4th Street $12,000.00
by and between the Iowa Department of Economic Development and
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved,
and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-228
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION TO BLACK HAWK COUNTY GAMING
ASSOCIATION FOR GRANT FUNDING AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application for grant funding in the amount of
$62,500.00, as part of the Drive Safe Cedar Valley Traffic Safety
Awareness Campaign project, by and between the Black Hawk County
Gaming Association and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the
same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of March, 2010.
