RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO THE
LOUIS BERGER GROUP, INC. OF MARION, IOWA FOR
ARCHAEOLOGICAL SERVICES FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION
PROJECTS: SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES AND THE
NORTHEAST IOWA FOOD BANK CAMPUS, IN THE
ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $44,000.00 FOR PHASE I
STUDY AND $1,200.00 PER MONITORING ACTIVITY
PER PROPERTY COST.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of The Louis Berger Group, Inc. of Marion,
Iowa, in the estimated amount of $44,000.00 for Phase I Study and
$1,200.00 per monitoring activity per property cost, for
Archaeological Services for New Construction Projects: Single -
Family Homes and the Northeast Iowa Food Bank Campus, described
in the Request for Proposal document, contract, etc. heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project, after public hearing on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the
same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for Archaeological Services for
New Construction Projects: Single -Family Homes and the Northeast
Iowa Food Bank Campus, described in the Request for Proposal
document, contract, etc., said contract not to be binding on the
City until approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of March, 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-231a
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF GRANT
APPLICATIONS TO THE STATE OF IOWA AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATIONS BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the applications for the State of Iowa Grayfield and
Brownfield Tax Credit Applications for the following: Crystal,
Econo Foods site, 320-322 East 4th Street, 326-330 East 4th
Street, and 612-616 Mulberry Street, and designating the City of
Waterloo as the local sponsor, by and between the State of Iowa
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same are hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 2010.
