RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO PLUMB
TECH, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE CITY OF
WATERLOO BUILDINGS FLOOD MITIGATION DESIGN,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $120,085.00 TO INCLUDE THE
ORIGINAL BID OF $115,850.00 AND A CHANGE
ORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,235.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Plumb Tech, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, in the
amount of $120,085.00 to include the original bid of $115,850.00
and a change order in the amount of $4,235.00, for the City of
Waterloo Buildings Flood Mitigation Design, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project, after public hearing on published notice required
by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 2010.

RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING BID
DOCUMENT, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT,
ESTIMATE OF COST, ETC., FOR TWO (2) 2010
INFIELD GROOMERS WITH ATTACHMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously instructed the Leisure
Services Director to prepare and file bid document,
specifications, form of contract and preliminary estimate of
cost, etc., for Two (2) 2010 Infield Groomers with Attachments in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as specified in the specifications,
and
WHEREAS, the Leisure Services Director has filed said bid
document, specifications, form of contract and preliminary
estimate of cost, etc., and the Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, having considered the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said bid document, specifications, form of
contract and preliminary estimate of cost, etc., be, and the same
are hereby preliminarily approved.
