RESOLUTION APPROVING ALLOCATION OF
DISCRETIONARY HOTEL/MOTEL TAX FUNDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the following allocation of Discretionary Hotel/Motel Tax
Funds, be and the same is hereby approved:
Waterloo Municipal Band $20,000.00
Waterloo Leisure Services - $ 5,000.00
Golf TV Advertising Campaign
Lou Henry Hoover Sculpture $15,000.00
Garden Committee
United Sisters of Black Hawk $ 6,000.00
County, Inc.
Friends of National Cattle $ 5,000.00
Congress
Waterloo Community Playhouse $ 1,000.00
Grout Museum District $10,000.00
Waterloo Police Department $30,000.00
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-322
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH AMENT, INC. AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID CONTRACT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Contract for Professional Services dated May 3, 2010, at
a cost of $64,000.00, to provide engineering services to conduct
a traffic study to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternatives
to improve traffic safety in conjunction with the 2010 Kimball
Avenue Traffic Study from US 20 to Ridgeway Avenue, by and
between Ament, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 2010.
