RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF BID TO D & N FENCE
CO. INC. OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA FOR THE FORMER
CHAMBERLAIN MANUFACTURING SITE FENCING
PROJECT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,850.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of D & N Fence Co. Inc. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
in the amount of $8,850.00, for the installation of new fencing
and repair of the existing fence at the former Chamberlain
Manufacturing site, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the
lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-324
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSULTING CONTRACT WITH
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS CONSULTANTS AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID CONTRACT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Consulting Contract dated May 3, 2010, at a cost of
$60,000.00, to provide legislative representation to better
pursue available grants and funding for city priority projects,
by and between Government Relations Consultants of Oakton,
Virginia and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 2010.
