RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH CJE
PROPERTIES TO ACQUIRE FROM THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND MOVE SIX (6)
HOMES FOR $1.00 EACH FOR A TOTAL OF $6.00,
PLUS COSTS, AS PART OF THE HIGHWAY 63
EXPANSION PROJECT AND TO SELL AND CONVEY
SEVEN (7) CITY -OWNED LOTS FOR THE PLACEMENT
OF THE SIX (6) HOMES, AS MAY 17, 2010, AT
5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of May, 2010, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Development
Agreement with CJE Properties to acquire from the Iowa
Department of Transportation and move six (6) homes for $1.00
each for a total of $6.00, plus costs, as part of the Highway 63
Expansion Project generally located at 1707 Logan Avenue, 1711
Logan Avenue, 1745 Logan Avenue, 1302 Logan Avenue, 1353 Logan
Avenue and 1252 Logan Avenue, and to sell and convey seven (7)
city -owned lots for the placement of the six (6) homes at 528 N.
Barkley Street, 701 Cottage Street, 700 Cottage Street, 300
Cottage Street, 738 Mobile Street, 1203 Beech Street and 807
Beech Street, and legally described as follows:
528 N. Barklev Street
Auditor Francis Rose Hill Plat Lot 1, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
701 Cottage Street
Howrey & McWilliams Replat of Blocks 2,3 and the N % of
Blk 4 and the E 355.43 ft of the N M of Blk 5 Howrey
and McWilliams Add Lot 9 Blk 3, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
700 Cottage Street
Howrey & McWilliams Replat of Blocks 2,3 and the N % of
Blk 4 and the E 355.43 Ft of the N M of Blk 5 Howrey
and McWilliams Add Lot 8 Blk 3, all in the City of

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
