RESOLUTION NO. 2023-676
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC, SETTING THE
DATE OF BID OPENING AS DECEMBER 7, 2023, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS DECEMBER 18, 2023, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2024 TITUS (MIDLAND)
PUMP STATION AND FORCE MAIN PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 975, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction
with the FY 2024 Titus (Midland) Pump Station and Force Main Project, Contract No. 975, are
hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Titus (Midland) Pump
Station and Force Main Project, Contract No. 975, be scheduled for December 7, 2023, at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of December 2023,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Titus (Midland) Pump Station and
Force Main Project, Contract No. 975.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
