RESOLUTION NO. 2023-691
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY ASPRO, INC., OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,469,283.12, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2022 ASPHALT OVERLAY
PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 1056, AND RECEIVE AND FILE
A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Aspro, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in conjunction with the FY
2022 Asphalt Overlay Program, Contract No. 1056, and
WHEREAS, Aspro, Inc. has completed the aforementioned project, in accordance with
the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council on May 2, 2022,
Resolution No. 2022-252.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Aspro, Inc., at a total cost of $3,469,283.12, in conjunction with
the FY 2022 Asphalt Overlay Program, Contract No. 1056, are hereby approved, and to two-year
maintenance bond received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of November 2023.
