RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF FAMILY AND
CHILDREN'S COUNCIL TO HOLD A CHILDREN'S FLAG
EVENT ON JUNE 13, 2010.
WHEREAS, Family and Children's Council has requested that
they be allowed to hold a Children's Flag Event on June 13, 2010
from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Washington Park, including street
closures during the event on South Street from Park Avenue to
Third Street, and Third Street from South Street to the dead end
at Washington Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Family and Children's Council
to hold a Children's Flag Event on June 13, 2010 from 11:30 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m. at Washington Park, including street closures during
the event on South Street from Park Avenue to Third Street, and
Third Street from South Street to the dead end at Washington
Street, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of May, 2010.
