RESOLUTION NO. 2023-757
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ASSIGNMENT OF REBATES
TO SELF-HELP FEDERAL CREDIT UNION IN CONJUNCTION
WITH A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH CENTRAL
PROPERTY HOLDINGS, LLC, ORIGINALLY APPROVED
AUGUST 7, 2017, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 221
FRANKLIN STREET.
WHEREAS, Self -Help Federal Credit Union entered into a Development Agreement,
originally approved on August 7, 2017, with the City of Waterloo, for the development of
property located at 221 Franklin Street, and
WHEREAS, the developer was given tax rebates for the added value of the project, and
WHEREAS, the property has been sold and the Development Agreement states that the
assignment of tax rebates is eligible and that the Assignment of Rebates will allow the new owner,
Self -Help Federal Credit Union LLC to receive the tax rebates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Assignment of Rebates for properties located at 221 Franklin Street,
to Self -Help Federal Credit Union, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November 2023.
