RESOLUTION NO. 2023-721
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO CELL SITE
SOLUTIONS, LLC, OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $54,950.00, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2024 3221 ANSBROROUGH
AVENUE FIBER HUT, CONTRACT NO. 1096, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Cell Site Solutions, LLC, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, submitted a bid
in conjunction with the FY 2024 3221 Ansbrorough Avenue Fiber Hut, Contract No. 1096, in the
amount of $54,950.00, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Cell Site Solutions, LLC submitted a written contract, bond, and certificate
of insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with the FY 2024 3221 Ansbrorough Avenue
Fiber Hut, Contract No. 1096.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of Cell Site Solutions, LLC, in the amount of $54,950.00, in conjunction
with the FY 2024 3221 Ansbrorough Avenue Fiber Hut, Contract No. 1096, is hereby accepted
and awarded to Peters Construction Corporation.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by Cell Site Solutions,
LLC, in the amount of $54,950.00, in conjunction with the FY 2024 3221 Ansbrorough Avenue
Fiber Hut, Contract No. 1096, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
and directed to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November 2023.
