RESOLUTION NO. 2023-723
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT,
RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK, AND
RELEASE OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,250.00,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BOWKER MECHANICAL
CONTRACTORS, OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO CENTER FOR THE
ARTS YOUTH PAVILLION PHASE II BOILER
REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Bowker Mechanical Contractors, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the Waterloo Center for the Arts Youth Pavillion Phase II Boiler Replacement
Project, and
WHEREAS, Bowker Mechanical Contractors has completed the aforementioned project,
in accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by
Council on November 7, 2022, Resolution No. 2022-681.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Bowker Mechanical Contractors, in conjunction with the Waterloo
Center for the Arts Youth Pavillion Phase II Boiler Replacement Project and Release of
Retainage in the amount of $7,250.00, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November 2023.
