RESOLUTION NO. 2023-728
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2023-2025
RESIDENTIAL/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS SNOW REMOVAL
CONTRACT FOR CITY -OWNED LOTS GENERALLY
ACQUIRED THROUGH IOWA CODE 657A.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file specifications,
bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the 2023-2025
Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for city -owned lots generally acquired
through Iowa Code 657A, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said
specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the 2023-2025
Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for city -owned lots generally acquired
through Iowa Code 657A, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on November 20, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the 2023-2025 Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for city -owned lots
generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, are hereby approved, and said project proceeds in
accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November 2023.
