RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO B & B LAWN CARE,
INC., OF WATERLOO, IN THE AMOUNT OF $19.40 PER
LOT/OCCURRENCE, APPROVING THE CONTRACT AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE 2023-2025 RESIDENTIAL/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS
SNOW REMOVAL CONTRACT FOR CITY-OWNED LOTS
GENERALLY ACQUIRED THROUGH IOWA CODE 657A,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, submit a bid in conjunction
with the 2023-2025 Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal C for city-owned lots
generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, in the amount of?/.9

the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc. submitted a written contract, bond, and certificate of
insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with the 2023-2025 Residential/Miscellaneous
Areas Snow Removal Contract for city-owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, IY IAMNI %/////%%%%//O��iii�� ,
1. That the bid of B & B Lawn Care, Inc., in the amount of $19.40 per lot/occurrence,
in conjunction with the 2023-2025 Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for
city-owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, is hereby accepted and awarded to
Plumb Tech, Inc.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by B & B Lawn Care,
Inc., in the amount of $19.40 per lot/occurrence, in conjunction with the 2023-2025
Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Snow Removal Contract for city-owned lots generally acquired
through Iowa Code 657A, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November 2023.
