RESOLUTION NO. 2023-770
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO CEDAR
VALLEY RENOVATIONS, LLC, OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $21,832.00, APPROVING THE CONTRACT
AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ONE -STALL GARAGE AT
232 RICKER STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Renovations, LLC, of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid
in conjunction with the construction of a one -stall garage at 232 Ricker Street, in the amount of
$21,832.00, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Renovations, LLC submitted a written contract and certificate
of insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with the construction of a one -stall garage at
232 Ricker Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of Cedar Valley Renovations, LLC, in the amount of $21,832.00,
in conjunction with the construction of a one -stall garage at 232 Ricker Street, is hereby accepted
and awarded to Cedar Valley Renovations, LLC.
2. That the contract and certificate of insurance submitted by Cedar Valley Renovations,
LLC, in the amount of $21,832.00, in conjunction with the construction of a one -stall garage at
232 Ricker Street, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of December 2023.
