RESOLUTION NO. 2023-776
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2024 FIBER OPTIC OUTSIDE
PLANT (OSP) CONSTRUCTION, ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION (EDA) AWARD
NUMBER 05-79-06185, CONTRACT NO. 1086.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Engineer of said city to prepare and file specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc.,
in conjunction with the FY 2024 Fiber Optic Outside Plant (OSP) Construction, Economic
Development Administration (EDA) Award Number 05-79-06185, Contract No. 1086, and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did file said specifications, bid documents, form of
contract, etc., in conjunction with the FY 2024 Fiber Optic Outside Plant (OSP) Construction,
Economic Development Administration (EDA) Award Number 05-79-06185, Contract No. 1086,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on December 4, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the FY 2024 Fiber Optic Outside Plant (OSP) Construction, Economic Development
Administration (EDA) Award Number 05-79-06185, Contract No. 1086, are hereby approved,
and said project proceeds in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of December 2023.
