RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE F.Y. 2010
REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE AERATION
EQUIPMENT AT THE SATELLITE AND EASTON AVENUE
WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITIES, CONTRACT
NO. 788.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Waste Management
Services of said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc., for the F.Y. 2010 Removal and Replacement
of the Aeration Equipment at the Satellite and Easton Avenue
Water Pollution Control Facilities, Contract No. 788, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Waste Management Services
did file said preliminary plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc., for the F.Y. 2010 Removal and Replacement of the
Aeration Equipment at the Satellite and Easton Avenue Water
Pollution Control Facilities, Contract No. 788, which were
preliminarily approved on April 12, 2010, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on May 17,
2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc., for the F.Y. 2010 Removal and Replacement of the
Aeration Equipment at the Satellite and Easton Avenue Water
Pollution Control Facilities, Contract No. 788, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 2010.
