RESOLUTION APPROVING SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH
THE STATE OF IOWA RETIREMENT INVESTORS' CLUB
(RIC), THROUGH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES, AND TERMINATING THE
CURRENT DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN BY
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2005-1040 IN ITS
ENTIRETY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Service Agreement dated May 17, 2010, at an annual
service fee of $500.00, for the purpose of providing the State of
Iowa Retirement Investors' Club (RIC) deferred compensation plan
to the City of Waterloo's eligible employees, by and between the
State of Iowa Retirement Investors' Club (RIC), through the
Department of Administrative Services, and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the City Clerk
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the current Deferred
Compensation Plan, be and the same, hereby terminated by
rescinding Resolution No. 2005-1040 in its entirety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 2010.
