RESOLUTION NO. 2023-789
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT,
RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK, AND
RELEASE OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,250.00,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BOWKER MECHANICAL
CONTRACTORS OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY OF WATERLOO CENTER
OF THE ARTS YOUTH PAVILION PH 2 BOILER
REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Bowker Mechanical Contractors of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the City of Waterloo Center of the Arts Youth Pavilion PH 2 Boiler
Replacement Project, and
WHEREAS, Bowker Mechanical Contractors has completed the aforementioned project,
in accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by
Council on November 7, 2022, Resolution No. 2022-681.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Bowker Mechanical Contractors in conjunction with the City of
Waterloo Center of the Arts Youth Pavilion PH 2 Boiler Replacement Project, in the amount of
$2,250.00, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December 2023.
