AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 5079,
AS AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING
ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
REFERRED TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, APPROVING A
REQUEST BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO ON BEHALF OF
H&A, LC, TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 60 ACRES FROM
"A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "M-2,P" PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT LOCATED EAST OF 2950 NEWELL
STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the request of the City of Waterloo on behalf of H&A, LC, to amend the
official zoning map referred to in Section 10-4-4 of Ordinance No. 5079 as amended, City of
Waterloo Zoning Ordinance to rezone approximately 60 acres from "A-1" Agricultural District to
"M-2,P" Planned Industrial District located east of 2950 Newell Street, for future industrial
development, and legally described as follows:
THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 21,
T89N, R12W, AND ALL THAT PART OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE
NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 21 LYING NORTHERLY OF
THE NORTHERLY LINE OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF THE CHICAGO
GREAT WESTERN RAIL ROAD, CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
shall be and is hereby approved.
