RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED.
WHEREAS, the Telecommunications Utility Board of Trustees of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed Magellan Advisors, consultant to the board to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the FY 2023 Construction of a Fiber-to-
Premise Feeder/Distribution and Backbone Network Project, Contract No. 1088, and
WHEREAS, said Magellan Advisors did file said plans, specifications, form of contract,
etc., in conjunction with the FY 2023 Fiber-to-Premise Feeder/Distribution and Backbone
Network Project, Contract No. 1088, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 21, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS
UTILITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed
advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by this Board that said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the FY 2023 Fiber-to-Premise
Feeder/Distribution and Backbone Network Project, Contract No. 1088, are hereby approved,
and said project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of June 2023.
