RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO ITG
COMMUNICATIONS, LLC OF HENDERSONVILLE, TN IN
THE AMOUNT OF $77,864,565.10, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY 2023 FIBER-TO-PREMISE FEEDER/DISTRIBUTION
AND BACKBONE NETWORK PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
1088.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS UTILITY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1: That the following bid for the construction of certain public improvements
described in general as the FY 2023 Fiber-to-Premise Feeder/Distribution and Backbone
Network Project, Contract No. 1088, described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted
by this Board on June 21, 2023, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest responsive,
responsive bid received for such work as follows:
Contractor: ITG Communications, LLC of Hendersonville, TN
Amount of Bid: $77,864,565.10
Portion of Project: All construction work
Section 2. That the Telecommunications Utility Board of Trustees consultant, Magellan
Advisors, is hereby directed to work with the contractor to
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July 2023.
