RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 14, 2023,
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 20, 2023,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PREFABRICATED SHELTER
AT 3233 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 1087, AND DIRECT THE BOARD SECRETARY TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS UTILITY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Prefabricated Shelter at 3233 Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No.
1087, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with Prefabricated Shelter at 3233
Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No. 1087, be scheduled for September 14, 2023 at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Telecommunications Utility Board of Trustees of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 4:00 p.m. on
the 20th day of September 2023, to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with Prefabricated
Shelter at 3233 Ansborough Avenue Project, Contract No. 1087.
Section 4. That the Board Secretary is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and
place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
