RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF ANTHONY THOMAS
OF LIFE LINE RESOURCES FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094.
WHEREAS, Anthony Thomas of Life Line Resources is requesting
a variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 19, 2010 from 10:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Juneteenth event to be
held at City View Park, including a PA system and a DJ, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Anthony Thomas of Life Line Resources has made
formal application for a variance on June 19, 2010 from 10:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Anthony Thomas of Life Line
Resources for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
on June 19, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with
the Juneteenth event to be held at City View Park, including a PA
system and a DJ, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May, 2010.
