RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF REV. DAVID VAN
NETTEN OF GRACE REFORMED CHURCH, 520 MAXWELL
STREET, FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE,
ORDINANCE NO. 3094.
WHEREAS, Rev. David Van Netten of Grace Reformed Church, 520
Maxwell Street, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance
on June 13, 2010 and August 15, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
in conjunction with Sunday In The Park event to be held at
Galloway Park, including PA system and DJ, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Rev. David Van Netten of Grace Reformed
Church, 520 Maxwell Street, has made formal application for a
variance on June 13, 2010 and August 15, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to
1:00 P.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Rev. David Van Netten of
Grace Reformed Church, 520 Maxwell Street, for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on June 13, 2010 and
August 15, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in conjunction with
Sunday In The Park event to be held at Galloway Park, including
PA system and DJ, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May, 2010.
