RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATIONS FROM THE
WATERLOO CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU FOR
HOTEL/MOTEL MINI -GRANTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the applications from the Waterloo Convention and Visitors
Bureau for hotel/motel mini -grants, in the amount of $3,000.00
for the Kiwanis Club of Waterloo (Thunder in the Valley Air Show
to be held July 29-31, 2011), $3,000.00 for the Grout Museum
District (Summer Bash 2010: Science Circus to be held July 29-31,
2010), and $500.00 for the Cedar Trail Partnership (Iowa Trails
Summitt to be held June 18-19, 2010), be and the same are hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May, 2010.
