However, they are also able to provide the required DC power system and batteries as an integrated solution thereby sharing one set of batteries for all network equipment, increasing off-generator backup hold time, and reducing maintenance costs to a single vendor. Exchange UPS units for AC powered network equipment in the Fire Station 6 shelter for an integrated DC power system with AC inverter and batteries to power all network equipment. The FTTU network budget for Year 1 is $2,381,452. The ePlus equipment and services contract is $1,342,074 and this CR will increase it to $1,421,172, which is well within both the 20% CR limit and remaining Waterloo Fiber FTTU network budget.
