RESOLUTION NO. 2010-408
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF LOCKARD
CONSTRUCTION ON BEHALF OF MBAK PROPERTIES FOR
AN ALTERNATIVE SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE
"R -4,R -P" PLANNED MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT
FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WEST SAN MARNAN DRIVE AND
HURST DRIVE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A 9,976
SQUARE FOOT PROFESSIONAL OFFICE BUILDING IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve an alternative site plan amendment to
the "R -4,R -P" Planned Multiple Residence District for property
generally located at the southeast corner of West San Marnan
Drive and Hurst Drive for the development of a 9,976 square foot
professional office building, legally described as follows:
Tower Park No. 6 Lot 1, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 24, 2010, at 5:30
p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned alternative site plan
amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said
alternative site plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that an alternative site plan amendment to the
"R -4,R -P" Planned Multiple Residence District for property
generally located at the southeast corner of West San Marnan
Drive and Hurst Drive for the development of a 9,976 square foot
professional office building, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May, 2010.
