RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF KNK
ENTERPRISE, LLC FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO
THE "S-1" SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT AT THE
FORMER ECONO FOODS BUILDING GENERALLY LOCATED
AT 1411 FLAMMANG DRIVE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
A 23,250 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION TO THE WEST END
OF THE EXISTING 56,941 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING
IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "S-1"
Shopping Center District at the former Econo Foods building
generally located at 1411 Flammang Drive for the development of a
23,250 square foot addition to the west end of the existing
56,941 square foot building, legally described as follows:
Crossroads Plat No 2 Lot 2 and Easement Book 8 Page 610
& Easement Book 8 Page 599, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 24, 2010, at 5:30
p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "S-1" Shopping
Center District at the former Econo Foods building generally
located at 1411 Flammang Drive for the development of a 23,250
square foot addition to the west end of the existing 56,941
square foot building, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May, 2010.
