RESOLUTION NO. 2024-008
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO WRH OF
AMANA, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,184,087.00 AND
APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE
OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2024
TITUS LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 975, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, WRH of Amana, Iowa, submitted a bid in conjunction with the FY 2024
Titus Lift Station and Force Main Project, Contract No. 975, in the amount of $6,184,087.00, and
is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, WRH submitted a written contract, bond, and certificate of insurance, per
city specifications, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Titus Lift Station and Force Main Project,
Contract No. 975.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of WRH in the amount of $6,184,087.00, in conjunction with the FY
2024 Titus Lift Station and Force Main Project, Contract No. 975.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by WRH, in the amount
of $6,184,087.00, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Titus Lift Station and Force Main Project,
Contract No. 975, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January 2024.
