RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FROM THE TRUST AND
AGENCY FUND THE SUM OF EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY-
SIX THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE DOLLARS
AND EIGHTY-ONE CENTS ( $889,372.72) TO THE
GENERAL FUND AND THE SUM OF SIXTY-NINE
THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS AND
SIXTY-TWO CENTS ( $69,901. 69) TO THE ROAD USE
TAX FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Council passed the 1994 Fiscal Budget on
February 23 , 1993 allocating $3 , 280,260. 00 to the General Fund and
$500,000.00 to the Road Use Tax Fund for the City' s share of
Insurance, FICA and IPERS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a transfer be made to the General Fund in
the amount of $494, 372.72 for expense reimbursement for the City' s
share of Insurance, FICA and IPERS and self-funded health insurance
reserve reimbursement in the amount of $395 ,000. 00 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a transfer be made for the amount
of $69, 901 .69 from the Trust and Agency Fund to the Road Use Tax
Fund for Insurance, FICA and IPERS costs as allowed by Section
384 . 12 of the State Code of Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of June, 1994.
