RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FROM THE ROAD USE TAX
FUND THE SUM OF EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE
THOUSAND THIRTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ( $881,038) TO
THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Council passed the 1993-1994 Fiscal Budget
on February 23 , 1993 , allocating certain fund transfers to
reimburse street maintenance activities within the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a transfer be made for the amount of
$881,038 from the Road Use Tax Fund to the General Fund for Street
Department equipment maintenance costs ( $113, 338) , street right-of-
way maintenance costs ( $362,700) and engineering costs ( $405,000) .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Acting City Clerk be
instructed to certify a copy of this resolution to the City
Treasurer of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in order that said
transfer be made.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1994.
