RESOLUTION APPROVING TWO-YEAR SERVICE
AGREEMENTS WITH WINDSTREAM COMMUNICATIONS OF
NEWTON, IOWA, FOR LOCAL PHONE SERVICE, AND
PIONEER TELEPHONE OF PORTLAND, MAINE, FOR
LONG DISTANCE PHONE SERVICE, AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENTS BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the two-year Service Agreements dated November 8, 2010, to
Windstream Communications of Newton, Iowa, to provide local phone
service at a cost of $21.45 per line per month, and to Pioneer
Telephone of Portland, Maine, to provide long distance phone
service at a cost of 2.7� interstate and 3.9G intrastate, by and
between Windstream Communications of Newton, Iowa and Pioneer
Telephone of Portland, Maine, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same are hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of November, 2010.
