RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT WITH
CARDINAL CONSTRUCTION, INC. OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, IN THE CORRECTED AMOUNT OF $55,599.01,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE F.Y. 2011 CARNEGIE
ANNEX PARKING LOT REPAIR, CONTRACT NO. 800,
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2010-965 IN ITS
ENTIRETY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the corrected bid of Cardinal Construction, Inc. of
Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $55,599.01 (a $10.71 decrease),
described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this
Council for said project in Resolution No. 2010-938, after public
hearing on October 18, 2010 on published notice required by law,
be and is hereby accepted, the same still being the apparent
lowest bid for said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2010-965, be and
the same, hereby rescinded in its entirety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of November, 2010.
