RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT WITH VIETH CONSTRUCTION CORP. OF
CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,111,574.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE F.Y.
2011 RIVER RENAISSANCE NORTH DOWNTOWN TRAIL,
CONTRACT NO. 786, STP -E -8155(721)-8V-07.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Vieth Construction Corp. of Cedar Falls,
Iowa, in the amount of $1,111,574.00, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project in Resolution No. 2010-934, after public hearing on
October 18, 2010 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the apparent lowest bid for said
project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of November, 2010.
