RESOLUTION NO. 2024-016
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JANUARY 25, 2024, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS FEBRUARY 5, 2024, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO CONVENTION
CENTER RESTROOM RENOVATION PROJECT, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction
with the Waterloo Convention Center Restroom Renovation Project, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Waterloo Convention Center
Restroom Renovation Project, be scheduled for January 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 5th day of February 2024, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Waterloo Convention Center Restroom
Renovation Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
