RESOLUTION NO. 2024-051
RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 19, 2024, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY
JAYSON VAUGHN TO VACATE AN EIGHT -FOOT BY
EIGHT -INCH UTILITY EASEMENT TO ALLOW FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE IN THE
"R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT
LOCATED AT 109 OAK RIDGE ROAD, AND INSTRUCT THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 19th day of February 2024 to
approve the request by Jayson Vaughn to vacate an eight -foot by eight -inch utility easement to
allow for the construction of an accessory structure in the "R-2" One and Two Family Residence
District located at 109 Oak Ridge Road.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February 2024.
