RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
CONTRACT & FINAL ACCEPTANCE AMOUNT
MODIFICATION AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS
FURNISHED BY KWS INC. OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA,
FOR THE U.S. 218/WASHINGTON AND
18TH/WILLISTON TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT, CS -TSF -8155(706)-85-07, AND
RELEASING $1,666.14 TO COVER COST OF SEVEN
(7) LOOP DETECTORS.
WHEREAS, KWS Inc. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, has under contract
with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, furnished certain materials and
performed labor at a total cost of $97,982.00 plus $1,666.14 to
cover the cost of seven (7) loop detectors not shown in original
plans but provided by contractor as requested, in connection with
the construction of the U.S. 218/Washington and 18th/Williston
Traffic Safety Project, CS -TSF -8155(706)-85-07, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Final Acceptance Amount Modification be and the same
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that $1,666.14 to cover the cost of seven (7)
loop detectors for the project be hereby released.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of November, 2010.
