RESOLUTION NO. 2024-084
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF TAMMIE
WAYLAND FOR A WAIVER FOR AN ASPHALT DRIVEWAY
LOCATED AT 2512 IDAHO STREET, WITH THE
ELIMINATION OF THE SIDEWALK SECTION.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a written application to the City Council asking
that Tammie Wayland be authorized and permitted to construct an asphalt driveway with the
elimination of the sidewalk section to be located at 2512 Idaho Street and legally described as
follows:
THE SOUTH 20 RODS OF THE WEST 20 RODS OF THE
SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 89 NORTH,
RANGE 12 WEST OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that said request
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted
to Tammie Wayland to construct an asphalt driveway with the elimination of the sidewalk
section, located at 2512 Idaho Street, subject to the following conditions:
1. Work is to be performed by an approved and bonded contractor.
2. A permit is to be obtained from the office of the City Engineer prior to
construction.
3. All work shall be under the supervision of the City Engineer and at no cost to the
City of Waterloo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized and directed to forward
a certified copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the
Black Hawk County Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a matter of
official County Record.
