RESOLUTION NO. 2024-085
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, BID
DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING THE DATE OF BID OPENING
AS FEBRUARY 29, 2024, AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS MARCH 4, 2024, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2024-2026
RIGHT-OF-WAY MOWING CONTRACT, AND INSTRUCT
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the 2024-2026 Right -of -Way Mowing Contract, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the 2024-2026 Right -of -Way
Mowing Contract, be scheduled for February 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of March 2024, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the 2024-2026 Right -of -Way Mowing Contract.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
